This is a very nice truck. It has the fully loaded lariat trim with nearly all the factory accessories available for that year. I am the second owner. I purchased it from an older man that took very good care of it ( it was his baby ). The body is straight and I did a full restoration using mostly original Ford parts about 10 years ago. I repainted the truck with the original colors but added a 2 tone green pearl pigment on the first coat of clear. It really helps the 2 colors blend together and makes the paint pop. I used the best clear coat available at the time (ppg's deltron DCU2021). The paint is not professionally perfect but it is pretty damn nice. The interior is original and everything works. The ac has been retrofitted for r134a. The transmission is a c6 that has been rebuilt using the best servo's, thrust washers, bushings, red friction disks/steels, reprogrammed valve body, it is bullet proof. The transfer case was rebuilt too (just because). The chassy, drivetrain, suspention, and breaks are fresh. The only thing I didn't rebuild was the motor (it just runs too good to justify it) The motor had a camshaft, 4 barrel intake, and was converted to a 400 by the original owner shortly after he purchased it. I swapped the eldebrock carburetor for a Rochester quadrajet to greatly improve the gas mileage. The ignition system has been swapped with an hei type distributor. I installed a heavy duty 5 core radiator. I just installed new duel exhaust and an alternator. The motor passes Oregon deq emission testing and runs great. The truck has mostly been sitting for the past 10 years now and is only driven about 400 miles during that time. The wheels and tires are new along with a matching spare. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side edge of the glass and the motor has developed a few small oil leaks (probably from sitting). I have been told that it is the most complete truck that they have ever seen for those years. I really don't want to sell it but I don't drive it much and life happens. I tried to price the truck based on what other trucks in that year are selling for. I am negotiable on the price. I have lots of spare parts too. I can be reached by text message at 5033308571.
