The BMW E21 3-series is a beautifully styled car and has always been popular. When the 6-cylinder, fuel-injected 323i came to market it became a truly fast car. This very car sold new in Germany and has been registered in the Netherlands since 2000. It comes with a large binder of history, has been extensively serviced and the kilometers are documented.

It has all the right options too. A series II 323i in Polaris Silver with a Marine blue velours interior. It has (rebuilt) power steering, a lovely shifting 5-speed gearbox, genuine and restored 15" Alpina wheels with brand new tyres. It has a nice Bavaria radio and now has the right looks since it sits slightly lowered in Eibach springs.
We have recently bought this car from the last caring owner who owned the car for 8 years after purchasing at Auto Leitner. The condition is amazing. A rust-free, perfectly straight body that wears beautiful paint in 060 Polaris Silver. A very original body, never worked, thin paint - a beautiful example. The engine bay is all original, it wears original front wings, doors, bonnet and quarterpanels. A true survivor and largely original 323i in great condition. Also the trunk shows all original metal, all original paint, no rust and with the complete set of tools.

The interior of the car is very clean and all stock. Blue velour, nice doorpanels, clean original carpets, BMW floormats. A clean headliner, a nice period-correct Bavaria radio plays nicely. This car also has the beloved pop-out windows (ausstellfenster) in the rear.

The car sits on a set of restored 15 genuine Alpina wheels with fresh tyres. The suspension has been upgraded with Eibach springs. The 2,3 liter matching numbers Straight six runs beautiful, The K-Jetronic system works excellent and makes for an easy coldstart, warm start, idle and power delivery. The gearbox shifts easily and the car feels solid, planted and comfortable. In recent years the car was serviced by a BMW dealer, the timing belt was replaced in 2022.

Last month in our workshop we have given the car carte blanche and now it runs and drives excellent. We have replaced every single suspension bushing front and rear, installed Eibach springs and new tyres - what a difference, it drives fantastic. We have greased the locks, fixed all functions, replaced the topmounts, diff mount, all CV boots, fuelhoses and more. Furthermore a major service with all filters and oils for engine, transmission and differential as well as the brakefluid after the 4 brake calipers have been rebuilt. 38 hours in the workshop invested. After that: extensive cleaning and detailing.

This 323i is now ready for the next owner and next years!
