This was a pet project for me. As far as I know, the truck was in original condition when purchased in 2014.
Since I have owned it, mostly cosmetic updates. Paint and interior. I could not find the original interior fabric, so I just choose a neutral gray similar color.
The challenge is that the truck passes 5 of the 6 emission test in California. For that reason its best to be sold into a neighboring state where the test are more lenient. Runs well.
Currently it is in storage and has been for the last 7 years. When I purchased the truck I thought I would be living in California soon, so I intended to deal with whatever was needed for emissions. Work took me outside of the state, then outside of the country. With that, I registered the truck as non-operable to minimize cost on registration and insurance. The truck is only taken out on occasion.
