MY STORY:
I purchased this incredible machine in September of 2021. This is the car I have been saying for years I would never sell, and for good reason; It’s one of the most exciting, intoxicating, and visceral driving experiences you may ever have. The only reason I would ever consider parting ways with my precious “86 Baby”, is because another super special Porsche has come up, and I just can’t help myself…
As stated above, this amazing Turbo needs absolutely nothing, I have maintained it with an open checkbook over the past few years. Have driven it from San Diego to Monterey Car Week twice, and many other adventures in-between. The car is incredible and far beyond a normal stock 930 of this era. The bigger turbo running 1 bar of boost, 5 speed G50, and other upgrades, along with the great exhaust, make this car such a thrilling ride and incredibly fast for its age, even by today's standards. 0-60 is about 4.5 seconds and I have done around a 12 second quarter mile. This car is no slouch. With the much wider than OEM wheels and tires, along with the lower ride height and aggressive alignment I put on the car, it handles incredibly well.
There are many low mileage examples of 930’s available and cars that have been sitting a long time, but are you really going to drive those and get true enjoyment out of them? If you want a truly memorable car, and an exciting experience every time, what I have here is perfect for you. Doesn’t hurt that she gets lots of smiles from people too. Has miles, but very well maintained, so it is ready to go immediately with no issues. Has mods and upgrades, but I can promise you, it provides a far superior experience compared to any stock 930.
If you take a look at the Carfax, you’ll see there was some “fire damage” reported in 2018/2019, same event that has 2 entries. That event happened under the ownership of the gentlemen I bought the car from, and it was a super minor fire (which is NOT uncommon on these old 911s). Luckily he shared the invoice with me, which you can see for yourself (January 2019 at 82,322 miles) He got the car completely repaired and there was never an issue after that. As of this date, it has been over 6 years since that event, and over 11,000 miles have been driven on the car since then (about 10,000 miles under my ownership over the past 3-½ years). So, you can be completely assured there are no lingering issues whatsoever.
Please take a close look at the Ownership History document, which is a spreadsheet covering nearly the entire history of this car going all the way back to the original selling dealer, and it covers in exact detail, with costs, all of my maintenance and upgrades.
