1988 Mazda RX-7

(March 6, 2025) I have no real desire to sell this car...she is still a great joy to drive and has really kept her looks! The fact is, I've just reached the age where "falling into" and "climbing out" of tiny little sports cars isn't as easy as it used to be and this creaky old granny needs to move into a sedan! I bought the car from Streetside Classics (see video) in May of 2017. I've kept all the service records since and just last week had an Austin Mazda dealership give her the once over and they said she's good to go.

1988-2017
This classic machine was purchased new in Minnesota and driven sparingly by its first owner who put only 24,000 miles on it from 1988 to 2007. In 2007 the owner moved to North Carolina where the car spent the next ten years in a climate controlled garage and only driven an additional 4000 miles. It has also received regularly scheduled dealer maintenance for all its 37 years! Includes Original Window Sticker and Manual, Ownership Info, Some Service Records and is ridiculously fast!

2017-2025
In 2017 the original owner, now up in years and having no use for it, sold it to its second owner who had it shipped to the Austin, Texas metro where it was inspected by a local Mazda dealership.They installed a new clutch, brakes, tires, and overhauled the AC, making it as good as new!! I then had it fitted with a 1000 watt, 11 speaker, sound system that will truly set your hair on fire, even at 100+ mph! It has served as my "Sunday Car" these past eight years and now has 46,000 miles on it. This classic is in amazing condition, you're gonna love it...I promise!
