1989 BMW 750iL

I am selling my 1989 BMW 750iL, black on black, with 115,000 km (approximately 71,500 miles). This is not just another old 7 Series. It is a very original, carefully preserved example with a special ownership history.

The car was originally owned by a BMW dealership in Vancouver, Canada, and driven by the General Manager until 73,000 km. I have the original 1995 newspaper advertisement showing the car for sale at that mileage ( check photos ). In 1995, it was purchased by a father and son who kept it for about 30 years, until 2025. I bought it from them, which makes me essentially the second private owner after three decades of single-family ownership.

The car has always been stored indoors and only driven on sunny days. It has zero rust. The paint is original. The interior is in beautiful condition and easily rates 9.5 out of 10. The condition truly matches the mileage.

In 2021, over $21,000 was invested at one of Vancouver’s top classic BMW specialists. While I do not have every invoice from the early years, the recent service records show the level of care this car has received. ( I can send scanned services and invoices )

It comes complete with:
• All original booklets
• All 5 original keys
• Original carpet mats
• Weather mats
• Original 17-inch BBS RC090 wheels
• Original 15-inch BBS spare wheel

I am also including valuable spare parts:
• Full front headlight set
• Full rear light set
• Side marker lights
• Mirrors
• Additional spare components

The only items that need to be installed are the rear struts and rear muffler. Both have already been purchased and are included in the sale:
• OEM Sachs rear struts (very difficult to find, over $2,000 USD paid)
• OEM rear muffler in mint condition

The photos show the car with regular BC plates. At the time, I was waiting for the Collector plates to arrive. The car is now registered under BC Collector plates, which requires the vehicle to remain fully original and in excellent condition.

My original plan was to ship the car to Europe, where I am from, and keep it long term. Unfortunately, shipping costs have gone over $10,000 , and with other life priorities, I decided it is not the right time. That is the only reason I am selling it.

Any inspection is welcome. I can provide detailed videos and do a FaceTime call with serious buyers. I want the next owner to feel completely comfortable.

This is a true collector piece. It is getting harder to find an E32 750iL in this kind of original, rust-free condition with documented history.

It honestly breaks my heart to sell it, but it deserves someone who will appreciate it as much as I do.
