1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Slant Nose

One of the holy grails of air-cooled Turbos! One of only 62 factory 1989 M505 G50 Slant Nose 930 Coupes for the US Market.  Finished in Guards Red over Beige interior and equipped with the one-year only G50 5-Speed transmission. Delivered new through Braman European Imports of Miami, FL in May of 1989 to Mr. F. Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez would own the car from new until 1992 when it was sold to its second owner in Buffalo, NY. He would go on to own this example from 1992 to 2023 when he sold it to his neighbor, and current owner. Upon his acquisition in 2023, the current owner enlisted the help of European Performance Specialists in Oakville, CT to do an entire mechanical overhaul. The engine was pulled from the car, and the case split for full engine rebuild. Nearly $75,000 was spent on the recommissioning. Other work included new clutch, flywheel, fuel pump, new carpet, dry ice cleaned chassis and engine, new Bridgestone tires, wheel bearings, Fuchs wheel refinished, new hoses and much more.

This car has been extremely well cared for and documented. Invoices dating back to 1992 are included with the car and scanned in the gallery above validating service and just 31,500 miles from new. This car comes with ORIGINAL window sticker, both original option stickers (under hood and owner’s manual) and Porsche PPS all confirming M505 Slant Nose Option.
