The Morgan Plus 8 3.9 V8 is quite rightly a much-loved British classic. At first, it seems as if you are looking at a car that is more than 100 years old, but if you keep looking at the Plus 8 for longer, you will see that it is quite a modern car. This example was delivered new in 1991 and has the 3.9 V8 engine which is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is completely original and has only 23,394 miles on the clock. The mileage is fully substantiated by the present, conclusive maintenance history. It is a beautiful example of how a car should be well maintained.

At first sight, it becomes immediately clear that this is a cherished Morgan. The body is beautifully cared for and is completely original. The paint of the car is well-maintained and has only some very light signs of use that match the age and mileage of the car. The car stands on beautiful wire wheels with good tires in the correct sizes. The convertible top is easy to operate, is in good condition and fits nicely everywhere. The interior is wonderfully original. The leather has developed a beautiful patina and is still wonderfully supple. The seats are good, the steering wheel looks beautiful and the dashboard with burr walnut wood is also beautiful to see. The controls and instruments all function as they should and are all beautifully original.

Technology is, of course, what matters. The 3.9 litre V8 is equipped with fuel injection and is top maintained. The engine produces 190 hp. By today’s standards that may not seem like much, but if we consider the car weight of only 940 kilos, we can only say that this is an extremely fast car. The Morgan accelerates from 0-100 in 6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 kilometres per hour. What stands out while driving is the ever-present torque. The engine excels in the very smooth running and hangs wonderfully on the gas. Thanks to the fuel injection, the running is very smooth and if you want to go full throttle, you are supported by the limited-slip differential. The brakes and chassis are perfectly maintained and naturally function as they should.

The entire maintenance history is present with the car by means of a completed maintenance book and invoices. In short, a beautiful Morgan plus 8 3.9 V8 in a beautiful original condition and impeccable state of maintenance.
