What’s special about this listing

Purchased in Oct ’97 from a local VW dealership (Campbell Nelson Volkswagen) although car was titled in California. Daily driver until 2006 when engine was replaced due to a high RPM noise in the top end. Cruiser/fun car until 2008. Summer track car from 2008 to 2016 (track days only, no autocross). Since 2016 driven maybe 200 miles/year during the Summer. Some of the parts listed are items I acquired over the years with the intention of a “mini” restoration. I retired last year and now realize I won’t allocate the time to complete the work required. I also have two totes full of miscellaneous clips, small parts, etc. Feel free to contact me with questions or request more info.
