The exterior of this roadster presents incredibly and almost spotless all around. The body features AMG upgrades including de-chroming into a monotone sport appearance, AMG 3-piece Aero III wheels and a lowered suspension, giving it an impressive and muscular stance. Original convertible power soft top operates without issues and presents very well, acrylic rear windows have expected hazing and aging. Hard top is in excellent condition, matching the appearance of the car and sporting a matching bespoke leather headliner in green.
The spectacular and well preserved Carat interior features a two-tone leather package in Green with matching carpeting, headliner and trunk. The instrument cluster instruments are in matching interior color with emerald red numbers and surrounded by wood veneer. Burlwood center console is accompanied by a signature Carat by Duchatelet wood phone and cradle enhancing the Youngtimer Period elegance of this droptop, and that was a USD 3,000 option in period!
The luggage compartment is adorned by green velour carpeting and green leather lining on the lid. Amenities include a Bekker Cassette radio with Mercedes-Benz branded CD-Changer and Telephone. Tools and spare wheel seem to have never been used.
M103 engine performs very well delivering power through the 722 transmission without overheating and keeping a Mercedes-Benz feel. Car is equipped with OEM bi-Xenon lights for added spec and safety.
