This is a 1994 BMW 540i that was purchased from Vancouver in 2024 and about 500 miles ago. It has a clean NYS title and recent NYS inspection. 173,196 km (~107,000 miles) Silver with black leather interior.
All dash pixels are in good working order. It has the Canadian style daytime running lights. Note that the photos show an aftermarket radio, but the original one has since been reinstalled. Factory rear headrests. Heated seats and traction control. Paint in excellent condition. No visible dings. It has never been exposed to a Northeastern winter. It is a solid , well sorted car with no major issues. Seats in excellent condition. Wheels free of scrapes or damage.
It has been sorted out mechanically over the past year with the following work;
New OEM shocks, springs, top mounts, and sway bar links, including new bump stops and dust caps.
New 225/60-15 tires installed on 8/20/25 or less than 50 miles ago
Four wheel alignment at BMW dealer .
New OEM plugs and eight individual coils.
New BMW right side cam cover. ($600)
New BMW cam cover gaskets.
New OEM MAF sensor.
New BMW transmission oil cooler. ($1500) . Original had a small crack.
New BMW transmission gasket and transmission oil change
New rear dog bones. (Pitman arms)
New front and rear brakes
New Genuine BMW wiper transmission ($600) and wiper blades.
New Genuine BMW blower motor.
New BMW blower motor regulator.
AC serviced, no leaks and blows ice cold.
New cabin and engine air filters.
Oil and filter change at dealer.
Brake fluid flushed at dealer
Coolant flushed and replaced
New left rear window regulator.
New floor mats.
Gas struts for trunk and hood replaced
Windshield free of cracks and pitting
Drivers side door weather seal replaced with Genuine BMW part
Rainbow speakers installed
Known faults:
Small hard to see hole in center console underneath the ashtray.
Headlight washers do not work. High pressure pump is NLA
Minor surface rust (see photograph )by rear bumper cover.
Minor rust on right front rocker by jacking point
