The fourth-generation Chevrolet Caprice was the last for the GM "B-body," which was first introduced in 1926 as GM's full-size, rear-wheel-drive platform that would go on to become one of most widespread and best-selling vehicle platforms in General Motors' history. This is one of the last examples of the old-school, body-on-frame, full-size American car.

The odometer currently indicates approximately 135,300 miles. The vehicle has been very well maintained by a single owner since it was purchased in June 1995. The car has had no accidents, and is solid with only small superficial blemishes mostly on the woodgrain exterior trim.
