1995 Chevrolet Impala Ligenfelter SS

This 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS was modified with a 383ci V8 engine package by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering of Decatur, Indiana, in October 1996, and it received a replacement six-speed manual transmission, a SPEC “Stage 4″ clutch, and a Torsen 4.10:1 limited-slip differential from B-Body High Performance, Inc. of Prairie Village, Kansas, in February 2005. Finished in black over gray leather, the car is further equipped with revised bodywork, a sport-tuned suspension, five-spoke 17” wheels, cruise control, a cassette stereo, and a Hurst short-throw shifter. The car spent time in spent time in several states before being acquired by the current owner in 2023, and work performed within the last two years is said to have involved rebuilding the transmission, balancing the driveshaft, tightening head bolts, and changing the air-conditioning compressor and an airbag sensor along with the water pump, timing cover, rear main seal, oil pan seal, idle air control valve, ignition components, and various fluids.
