1996 BMW 328is

Owned this beautiful girl since 2012. Used as a daily driver until 2020, and it has been mostly parked since then. Driven periodically for a wash and yearly smog check.

High mileage, when I bought it at 286K I was told the engine top end had been redone and it shows, she idles and revs very smooth and sounds healthy. Transmission works with no issue other than the shifter is sloppy, I was planning on replacing the bushings when I did the clutch, but it never needed one so I just drove it as is.

She is a classic car in need of some love. Misc. fixes are needed, has some shaking at high speed in steering, tie rods need to be replaced. Also the ignition tumbler failed, common issue with this model, so the ignition switch is disconnected and you have to insert the transponder key into the ignition, then turn the switch with another key. The sunroof works but has gotten dust is the track so it barely moves. I used to use it all the time. Driver seat is old and has tears. Misc. dents and dings, will need minor body fixes, and clear coat is peeling all over.

This is a beautiful classic E36, highly desirable 5-speed RWD coupe in need of more time and love than I can give her right now.

Can be driven home of you live in Reno, otherwise bring a trailer. Test drives with cash in hand.
