This rare find was purchased for an individual in Mississippi who had owned it for a few years. Companies like Straman, Lumma and Newport specialized in cabriolet conversion coach work for luxury European cars.

It is presumed that this car could be an early Newport as it is a US market unit with its North American history being uninterrupted.

Mechanically the engine and transmission work well and without any issues, on the road and traffic.

Body is straight and glossy, showing very well and in excellent condition with no apparent rust. Power top mechanism works and cycles open and closed Interior and convertible top canvass need a refresh as they show wear. Canvass needs to be replaced, but its complete, allowing an upholsterer to replicate it without problem.
