From the Patina Collective selection available now, this amazing S600 Coupe by AMG Japan.

This 1996 Mercedes-Benz S600 AMG Coupe was modified by AMG Japan before being exported to the U.S. and shows 72800k km, approximately 45k miles, from new.

AMG modifications include a full AMG body kit, suspension, wheels, interior modifications, a tune and exhaust. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Exclusive Black and Grey Leather (561), power is provided by an AMG-tuned 6.0-liter M120 V12 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.

Factory equipment includes heated and multicontour front seats with memory, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, Bose audio, headlamp wiper/washers, dual-zone climate control, and a power rear sunshade.

The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features original AMG body work finished in matching body color including sculpted front and rear air dams and side skirts with an AMG badge mounted on the trunk lid. Exterior equipment includes front and rear fog lamps, headlamp wiper/washers, a power tilt/slide glass sunroof, power door mirrors, a locking trunk lid, dual-pane windows and closing assist doors and trunk.

19” Brabus Monoblock V multipiece wheels have been fitted. Factory equipment includes self-leveling hydraulic suspension with an adaptive damping system as well as electronic stability programming.

The interior is finished in Exclusive Black and Grey Leather (561) along the seats and door panels along with a leather stitched dash and center console. Burl walnut wood trim can be found lining the center console, dashboard, headrests and door panels with a signed AMG badge on the ashtray cover.

AMG analog instrumentation including a 300-Kph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, economy, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The digital odometer currently shows 125k original kilometers (approximately 78k miles).

This S-class coupe is powered by a 48v 6.0-liter M120 V12 engine which received a tune from AMG reportedly making 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. An AMG engine cover has been fitted in place of the factory unit and displays an original AMG badge. A stainless-steel AMG performance exhaust was fitted along with twin chrome-tipped AMG exhaust pipes. Original AMG stickers can be seen mounted to the radiator support bracket along with the AMG ECU showing an original HWA part number.
