This 1997 Yukon was bought over 25 years ago. The sole purpose was for visiting immediate family in Myrtle Beach from Pennsylvania from May until October. This truck has never seen the snow, salt or bad roads. It has always been garage kept from October until May every year. We never towed anything with this truck but does have a receiver. This truck has received regular 2500 mile oil changes and the usual maintenance such as new hoses and belts every few years. The 5.7 Vortec drive train is unmolested ( all original). It has leather seats, air conditioning, am/fm cassette and cd player, spare tire has never been used, has barn doors, has Texas tinted windows, carpeting has no stains or rips. Truck has factory running boards. Truck has always been stored with peppermint oil so it always smells minty.
Flaws: power door lock is dismantled. ( common problem with Chevy trucks) . Someone keyed circles in the paint on the rear quarter panel the size of a softball but we covered the marks with wax so as not to rust. Passenger side sill trim has a and needs replacement.
With the passage of time, my relatives passed away in Myrtle Beach, my kids have joined the Military and it has been sitting in my garage for 6 years. With the 30th Anniversary coming up, it is now time to have this truck go to another family.
This is a true, rare, survivor. All original…
