1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S - Canepa-sourced, low mileage widebody Porsche 993.

This collector-grade, 6-speed manual 993 C4S is finished in a deep black paint over black leather. In 2019, the current owner purchased this low mileage C4S through Canepa and added tasteful OEM+ upgrades such as PCCM with Bluetooth, an upgraded FD Motorsports short shift kit, wheel spacers, red seat belts, and coco floor mats. Noted Bay Area Porsche mechanics, S-Car-Go Racing and Eason MotorWorks, have been tasked with maintaining the car's excellent condition over the past 7 years. In October 2025, an oil, brake, transmission, and differential fluid change was performed, and a new battery, passenger window switch, shift bushings, and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were also installed. Documentation includes service records and a clean Carfax Report.

The last of the air-cooled Porsche 911s, the 993 is the final evolution of the long air-cooled lineage from Porsche. The 993 boasts all of the innovations and refinement that Porsche learned from building the 911 for 30+ years, creating a simple yet distilled package of excellent driving dynamics, everyday comfort and accessible performance. The C4S, first built for the 1996 model year, uses the same wide body as the coveted 993 Turbo and also used the same all-wheel-drive system that the Turbo was equipped with. With an incredible amount of mechanical grip, a direct driving experience with 282 horsepower from its 3.6 liter flat six, the 993 C4S is a fantastic performer in all conditions.

As noted by Canepa, this car was first delivered to the Porsche dealer of Evansville, IN on February 27th, 1997. Ordered in black over a black leather interior with a 6-speed manual transmission and sunroof, this car was first registered in Kentucky on March 11th, 1997. The 993 was then sold on March 4th, 1999 with an indicated 7,982 miles.

Its second owner, Robert Miner, was this 911's longest caretaker, owning the car from June of 1999 to around 2014. During this time, Robert kept excellent care of the Porsche, having it regularly serviced as evidenced by the long list of service receipts for this car. His attention to detail is also present by looking at the entire car, from the interior showing very little wear whatsoever and the black paint finish showing as if it was only a few years old. In July 2017, it made its way to California and into celebrity ownership.

The celebrity owner had the car properly maintained and only added approximately 500 miles during the next two years. When this 911 arrived at Canepa, they noted that it had received a high level of care, which was evident in its excellent overall condition. The car was immediately placed into Canepa's system to go through the entire “Canepa Difference” process. After a thorough mechanical inspection and receiving a clean bill of health, the car was cleaned from front to back to ensure that every surface was spotless. The car then received a comprehensive foam-pad paint polishing, enhancing the black factory paintwork to a fantastic luster.

Upon his purchase at 24,007 miles, the current owner commissioned Canepa to install PPF on the front bumper, mirrors, and rear stone guards. Combining meticulous maintenance with celebrity ownership, a preserved factory exterior and interior, and top-tier driving dynamics, this 993 C4S now presents as a stunning example of the breed and is the complete air-cooled Porsche package.

The following OEM parts are included in the sale: Shift knob and shift boot, engine under tray, shift rod and linkage, mats, stereo, black seat belts, and pedals. The owner's manual, tools, compressor, and spare are also included.
