1998 BMW 740i

This vehicle is a restoration project for the right owner who will find it a smooth, quiet, comfortable ride with great pick-up as-is, but leaks oil and slips in reverse when backing uphill on hot days. Registration expired and requires new catalytic converters in order to pass CA smog. Also needs new glove box and trunk lock assemblies, trunk lid lifts, complete set of engine gaskets, some front end and aforementioned transmission work. Original sound system has excellent frequency response, plays CD's and cassettes but radio does not work. Exterior body paint oxidizing but no rust. Small dings on driver side passenger door and rear side panel (see photos) but no significant body damage. Interior front seats worn, but rear seats and headliner are like new. Comes with good battery and tires.
