1999 Porsche 911 Carrera

Morris Brothers is proud to present this well sorted, low mileage early 996 finished in Schwarz Black over Black interior. This is a no frills spec and maintains a very original stature.

The 1999 Porsche 911 is widely considered the one to have of the 996 range with its responsive cable throttle and dual row IMS bearing. This car in particular feels like new. The engines sound is soft and sweet while its power delivery is smooth. The transmission shifts through the gears like butter, steering feels tight and direct and physically inside and out this car presents extremely well.

This car does show a minor on the carfax due to a collision with a deer that resulted in the replacement of the hood, drivers front fender and driver door card using all new, OEM parts.

This car is a stripped down spec for a pure driving experience. The only upgrades that have been made are some aftermarket speakers to accompany a blaupunkt head unit and a small rear spoiler that is subtle but matches the cars style well.

As far as I can see, everything works as intended.

The 996 has long been the black sheep of the 911 line up with little appreciation for it's egg splat headlights... but what has been overlooked is just how good of a driving car they are... until now. Think about it, who are this cars parents? Who gave birth to the 996? The pinnacle of air cooled, the 993. This car is the combination of everything we love so much about the last air cooled generation and the first dip into the water... cooled.

Outside of its excellent driving characteristics... I think people are also starting to appreciate it's unique styling. Think about it, what does everyone want in a Porsche? Rarity. And what is more rare than the only generation of 911 to look different than all the rest?

All jokes aside, I personally have started to appreciate the styling of the 996 more and more, combine that with the most raw water cooled 911 driving experience and the lowest price point of any 911 generation... why wouldn't you want one?
