Highlights
This RS4 is a European-spec wagon that’s titled and located in Arizona. As with all first-generation RS4s, it’s powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 paired with a mandatory 6-speed manual transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive -- but it was never officially offered for sale in the United States. The odometer reads in metric units and indicates approximately 136,500 kilometers or roughly 84,900 miles.

According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, notable factory equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a "slicktop" roof, Recaro seats, carbon fiber interior trim, and more as detailed below. A list of notable modifications reported by the seller is viewable below, and highlights include a Stage 1 tune, Bilstein PSS9 adjustable shock absorbers, and numerous 034motorsport suspension and mounting components.

Audi released the first-generation RS4 Avant in 1999 as the long-awaited successor to the RS2 Avant. Based on the first-generation A4, and offered exclusively as a wagon, the RS4 gained a twin-turbocharged V6 developed in part by Cosworth, permanent all-wheel drive, and a long list of standard features. Audi built about 6,030 units of the first-generation RS4 between 1999 and 2002, and all delivered sports car-like performance in a practical, family-friendly package.

Power comes from a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6, rated at 375 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque in stock form. According to the seller, the tune currently installed on this RS4 increases those figures to approximately 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, but a dyno sheet was not provided to verify. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and Audi's Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.
