About the model

The last generation of the Lotus Esprit is known as the Series 4. Introduced in 1993, the Series 4 is confusingly named as it is widely seen as the fifth generation of Esprit. While still offering the trademark mid-mounted inline-four engine, the Series 4 was the only generation of Esprit to offer a V8 engine. The Esprit V8 was fitted with a 3.5L twin turbo V8 tuned to produce 350hp. Production of the Series 4 Esprit and the model in general ended in 2004.
