2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition

2006 Toyota 4Runner Sport, V8 AWD. This 4Runner is my personal vehicle that I purchased 9 years ago. It is a Southern vehicle spending time in Arkansas and Missouri so the rust is very very minimal. I purposely sought out a 4Runner from a warm climate so the frame would be clean and I made sure to wash it regularly on the underside to maintain the rust-free frame. UNDERSIDE pics coming soon!

This 4Runner is optioned with the Sport package (hood scoop, tubular side steps and roof bars), JBL Audio, AWD with 4-low and locker. Also, the seats were redone by the selling dealer when new, with leather-like covers and the fronts are heated.

I added a few things over the years to make the appearance better, including TRD Pro replica wheels, BFGoodrich K02 tires, American flag rear window stickers, Bilstein 4600HD shocks and struts along with a .75" spacer lift front and back. I also added a Bluetooth phone module to the stock radio to be able to play music. I painted the front grill black with Plasti-dip (could use a respray).

I poured a TON of money/effort into maintenance on this 4Runner over the years to keep it running reliably. I did the following:

-Timing belt, water pump, coolant flush, serpentine belt, tensioner and thermostat at 212k miles
-Heavy duty front wheel bearings at 220k
-Throttle body and MAF sensor at 230k
-New headlights
-Starter at 215k
-Spark plugs, fuel injector seals and intake manifold gaskets at 215k
-Battery and battery tie down
-Secondary air bypass
-Air filter and cabin air filter multiple times
-Radiator and alternator at 214k
-4 wheel alignment at 230k
-Rear differential fluid flush and transmission fluid flush + filter at 225k

I have driven over 50k miles in the last 9 years and love this 4Runner. I once took it on a 5,000 mile trip to Colorado and Utah and it performed flawlessly. I am only selling because I bought a Cayenne Diesel that I plan to own for a long time.
