A F.B.I agent contacted me some years back via the Shelby registry & told me he had used this car to help wrangle in & convict a corrupt car enthusiast Mayor who was taking developer bribes in a small Florida town. He saved the information on this vehicle as he thought it would be of interest & meaningful for future owners.
