2008 Porsche 911 Carrera
2008 |
112,350 |
$49,500
Overview
This 997 has been the owners personal car since 2021. Finished in paint to sample Zanzibar Red,
it has been a dependable daily summer driver that hasn’t needed anything beyond regular maintenance. It is stored in a climate controlled building year-round. The color is always the first talking point when it’s in public. Quite amazing that there are so few Porsches in this color because it is truly a standout. The dark orange, copper and even gold side-tones change as the daylight changes. The body-color seat shells and center console stand in contrast to the black leather seats and carpets.
Options include:
– Sport seats in black leather, heated with “shells” finished in body color
– Bi-Xenon headlamp pkg
– 19″ Carrera S wheels
– Fire extinguisher
– 3-spoke steering wheel
Detailed service records go back to 2014. Since then, it has been religiously maintained.
Its most recent maintenance (October 2025) involved the following: Oil/filter/plug change, new spark plugs, new coils, new serp belt & pulleys.
In 2022 the car underwent an exterior refurbishment to take care of rock chips and typical wear at the front. Painstaking effort was put into matching this multi-stage color and refinishing was limited to the bumper, hood, and front fenders, blending those to the original paint of the doors. The rest of the body has remarkably good paint aside from a few random rock chips. New clear rear fender protectors were installed at this time.
The results are what looks like an essentially new car. The interior is also quite nice and remains soft and relatively unblemished aside from light bolster wear at the drivers outer bolster.
The car was fully ceramic coated in 2025 with a 7-year coating.
The head unit was updated to a fixed Sony with Reverse camera, Bluetooth, XM, & other apps. The door speakers were upgraded behind the factory covers and a Porsche factory Bose sub/enclosure was installed on the parcel shelf behind the rear seats. An amp is hidden in the frunk to power the upgrades.
Known blemishes/issues:
– There is a nickel sized area under and just forward of the drivers door mirror where the clear coat was buffed thin and shows a slight discoloration.
– Sunroof opens and closes & vents but sometimes takes a 2-3 pushes of the button (or hold) to get it to go.
Extras included with the sale are:
– Porsche spare wheel/tire/jack kit that fits in the frunk.
– Durametric Diagnostic Tool
– OE fitted car cover
– 2 keys
– Original OE PCM 2.1 unit
