This Tiptronic S equipped version of the 997.1 "Porsche 911 Turbo" is high performance sports car powered by a 480hp rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat six engine that sent drive to all four wheels through a 5 speed Tiptronic (automatic) transmission.

In order to control the power from the engine, this 997.1 Turbo feature Porsche Traction Management as well as Porsche Stability Management, making sure that less-skilled drivers would be able to enjoy the sporting potential of these cars.

Sport Chrono package adds overboost, temporarily increasing turbo pressure and torque (about +44 lb-ft for short bursts), faster shifting and more aggressive automatic programming.

Tiptronic S automatic transmission anables acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.5 seconds, while the manual version achieves the same in about 3.8 seconds
