2009 BMW 128i

2009 BMW 128i 1 owner, 6 speed manual, RWD

The original owner purchased this car brand new from Girard Toyota-BMW with 5 miles on the odometer, in 2009. She was 73 at the time - and she bought a 6 speed MANUAL, 230HP, inline 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive, BMW coupe!

This car has been serviced at Girard for most of it's life, getting the regular, required maintenance. The car has less than 86K miles on it and it looks even better, drives like a new car. The underside is clean, having never seen snow, most of the factory decals are still on the parts and they're still clean and legible.

The interior is near perfect, no wear on any of the usual touch points, including the pedals. It's well optioned but as a "driving machine", it only has few weight adding options. Of course, it has AC that blows very cold, power windows, power mirrors, power steering and new 4 wheel disc power brakes, the seats however are manual adjust, it also has cruise control and a manual tilt wheel. All surfaces are leather and there are front and side airbags. A very neat option is the fold down rear seats, there is very ample room when they're folded down, I mean, enough that an average person could pretty much put a sleeping bag down and sleep back there.

There is a 6 speaker stereo system with bluetooth and CD player and steering wheel mounted controls. The sunroof slides and tilts.

All the electronics operate as they should.

The engine is the venerable 3.0 liter BMW inline 6 that puts out 230HP and a super smooth 200 lb ft of torque. The 6 speed manual allows you to stretch the revs and feel all of the available torque. Independent suspension and f&r sway bars keep the tires planted firmly, even on hard cornering. This is a small, light, coupe that is fun to toss around. Certainly a sport coupe.

The Crimson Red paint has had some touch ups and a couple panels have been repainted, as the elderly owner aged, she unfortunately bumped into a few things that required paint work. However, the paint is in very good condition, only a couple small stone chips on the hood and a small rub on one fender flare. The red shines beautifully and is deep.

New tires, new center caps and a BMW oil pan gasket will be new on the car before it is sold.
