About the model

The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport was a variant of the C6 Corvette that was introduced for the 2010 model year. The Grand Sport name was revived for the C6 Corvette after last having been used for the C4 Grand Sport. This new iteration of the Grand Sport saw the car placed between the Base C6 Corvette and the C6 Z06 and offered in semi-convertible (known as Coupe) or convertible body styles that featured a sporty body kit. The Grand Sport, which is also referred to as the GS, was powered by Chevrolet's LS3 engine, which was a 6.2L V8 with an output of 430hp that powered the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. By the end of C6 Grand Sport Corvette production, a total of 28,004 examples were built.
