1957 Porsche 356 Replica Speedster

This Porsche 356A Speedster replica with 1500 miles, was built by Vintage Motorcars of Hawaiian Gardens, California in 2019, and custom built to my specs. It was built to replica my families original 1957 356A Speedster, which we still have, and the original only has about 4000 miles on it, totally pristine. Power is provided by a 1914cc flat-four paired with a Freeway Flyer four-speed manual transaxle, with a 3.88:1 final drive ratio, and the fiberglass body is finished in Aquamarine Blue Metallic and mounted to a modified Volkswagen Beetle chassis. It has only seen back country roads, no freeway. It screams cool, very iconic, and everyone smiles when they see it...only selling because I'm old...
Equipment includes a black convertible top as well as a black top boot, four-wheel disc brakes dual Kadron carbuetors, low-back bucket seats trimmed in brown leather, extends to the dashboard, rear shelf, door panels, and shift and parking brake boots. Additional appointments include lap belts, woven floor mats, ivory shift knob, and retro-style stereo unit equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, and door map pockets.
This Speedster replica is offered with a build invoice and a clean California title in the seller's name listing the car as a 1970 Volkswagen.
This 356A has mesh headlight grilles, fog lights, dual side mirrors, a reproduction Reutter badge on the right fender, a single-grille engine lid, gold colored Porsche 1600 Super badging, twin exhaust outlets, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Polished 15" wheels wear a chrome moon covers and are mounted with 185/65 Blacklion Cilerro tires.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a central tachometer flanked by VDO 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge.
