Audi R8 - Type 4S (2016 to 2024)

The second generation of Audi R8 was introduced for the 2016 model year. Known as the Type 4S, the second gen R8 shares many components with the Lamborghini Huracan. Fitted with a mid-mounted 5.2L V10 engine the Type 4S was largely built as a four wheel drive car, yet a series of rear wheel driven R8s were also built. Available as a coupe or spyder, the Type 4S was the first generation of Audi R8 to feature an electric variant known as the Audi R8 e-Tron. Other variants built included the V10, V10 Plus, V10 RWS, V10 Quattro, V10 Performance Quattro, V10 RWD, and V10 Performance RWD.
