Bentley S3 - Standard (1962 to 1965)

The Bentley S-Series S3 (1962–1965) was the final evolution of Bentley’s classic post-war luxury saloon, refining the formula introduced by the S2. It retained the smooth 6.2-liter V8 engine, delivering effortless torque and near-silent performance, while introducing subtle mechanical and styling improvements for greater refinement. The most visible update was the adoption of quad headlamps, giving the car a more modern and distinctive front end. Although not an S3 Continental, the standard model continued to benefit from bespoke craftsmanship and coachbuilt details associated with firms such as Mulliner Park Ward and James Young. Produced between 1962 and 1965, the S3 marked the end of the traditional S-Series era before Bentley transitioned to the more modern T-Series.
