The BMW 130i was a variant of the E8x BMW 1 Series that debuted for the 2006 model year. The 130i was only offered in a hatchback body style, with 2 doors (E81) or 4 doors (E87). These cars were powered by BMW's N52 3.0L inline six engine, which initially had 261hp, but from the 2010 model year onward, it only had 255hp. Both a 6 speed automatic and a 6 speed manual gearbox were offered as transmission options. Production of the E8x BMW 130i ended in 2011.
