The BMW M235iR, also known as the M235i Racing, was a track-focused variant of the F22 BMW 2 Series. Introduced for the 2014 model year, the M235iR was powered by a modified version of BMW's N55B30O0 engine, which was a turbocharged 3.0L inline six. This engine had an output of 329hp and 332 lb ft of torque which was sent to the rear wheels via an 8 speed automatic transmission.
