The BMW 309 was a short-lived model that was created as the successor to the BMW 3/20. Introduced in 1934, the BMW 309 was based on the BMW 303 platform and featured an 850cc inline four engine that sent 22hp to the rear wheels. These small, simple cars were only built until 1936, with around 6000 examples produced.
