BMW X5 3.0i - E53 (2000 to 2006)

The BMW X5 3.0i was a variant of the E53 BMW X5 that was introduced for the 2000 model year as the entry-level version of the first-generation X5. The X5 3.0i was powered by a 3.0L version of BMW's M54 inline six engine generating 228hp, paired to a 5 speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive (xDrive), enabling agile handling both on and off-road. Its robust and elegant design includes a high-quality interior with ample passenger and cargo space, basic but effective comfort technology and a focus on safety and stability. The E53 3.0i laid the foundation for the X5's success by offering a premium driving experience within the midsize-to-large luxury SUV segment. Production of the E53 BMW X5 3.0i ended in 2006 when the next generation E70 BMW X5 debuted.
