The CERV, or Chevrolet Experimental Research Vehicle was a series of developmental prototype cars that first appeared in 1960. Five CERVs have been made, the CERV I, CERV II, CERV III, CERV IV, and CERV IV-B. Each of these cars is very unique, and built for a specific testing or development purpose. The CERV I was notable for its use in the development of the Chevrolet Corvette.
