The Chrysler Laser was a series of hatchback sports cars introduced for the 1984 model year. The Laser was largely a rebadged Dodge Daytona with premium trim. The Laser was offered in three different trim levels: standard, XE, and XT, with XT being the top level. Performance came from a naturally aspirated or turbocharged 2.2L inline four engine. Production of the Chrysler Laser only lasted a few years, with the model being discontinued in 1986.
