Citroën DS19 Cabriolet (1955 to 1968)

The Citroën DS19 Cabriolet was a variant for the Citroën DS model designed by Flaminio Bertoni before it was passed on to Henry Chapron, who was already converting small numbers of cars. Using a special reinforced frame that was very similar frame found on the "Break" station wagon, the DS 19 d´Usine meaning "from the factoy" was powered by a 1.9L inline four engine before it was upgraded to a 2.0L inline four. The Citroën DS 19 Cabriolet was replaced by the DS 21 Cabriolet in 1965.
