The fifth-generation Dodge Dart debuted for the 2013 model year as a compact sedan somewhat like its predecessor that was last seen in 1976. However, this generation of Dart was not very nostalgic and featured front-wheel-drive and a choice of three different four-cylinder engines. The Dart was also sold in other markets as the Fiat Viaggio. By 2016, after slumping sales, the Dart had ceased production.
