Dodge Durango - 2nd Gen (2004 to 2009)

The second generation of Dodge Durango debuted for the 2004 model year. This updated series of SUVs were available with V6 or V8 engine options, including a hybrid V8. These engines were paired to standard automatic transmissions, although a CVT (continuously variable transmission) was an option on some variants. The 2nd Gen Durango was available in rear wheel drive or all wheel drive, and was in production until 2009, although some unsold 2009 cars were sold as 2010 model year cars before the introduction of the Third Generation Dodge Durango.
