The R/T Model was introduced in 1991 as one of Dodge Stealth variants. It represented the top of the line non-turbo version within the Stealth. It retained the 2-door coupe design and was equipped with the same 3.0L V6 engine as the ES, available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. The R/T included improvements in equipment, suspension and finishes, giving it a more refined and sporty ride. This car offered the same mechanical performance as the ES but with a more premium touch, positioning itself as a comfortable and striking daily use sports car without resorting to the complexity of the twin-turbo system. The Dodge Stealth R/T was produced until 1996.
