The Dodge Stealth — a badge engineered, mechanically identical captive import to the Mitsubishi 3000GT — was sold for model years 1991–1996. The car was manufactured by Japanese automobile manufacturer Mitsubishi, but Chrysler was responsible for the Stealth's exterior styling. The GTO, 3000GT and the Dodge Stealth were all based on Mitsubishi's Sigma/Diamante and retained their transverse mounted 3-liter, 24-valve V6 engines and front-wheel-drive layout. The engine was naturally aspirated or twin-turbocharged for the high performance R/T Twin Turbo variant.
