Ford Country Sedan - 4th Gen (1960 to 1964)

The 4th Generation of the Ford Country Sedan was introduced in 1960. It was a full-size station wagon with a 4-door body style, based on the Galaxie line. It retained rear-wheel drive and offered 3-speed manual transmissions as well as the Cruise-O-Matic automatic. Engines included a 226ci inline-six and a range of V8s ranging from 272ci to the powerful 390ci. A notable aspect of this generation was the adoption of a more refined and spacious design, with an emphasis on comfort and cargo capacity. The 4th Generation Ford Country Sedan was produced until 1964 and was replaced by the 5th Gen.
