Ford Country Sedan - 6th Gen (1969 to 1974)

The 6th Generation of the Ford Country Sedan was introduced in 1969. It was a full-size, 4-door station wagon based on the Ford Galaxie, featuring an even larger, boxier and more luxuriously comfortable design. It retained rear-wheel drive and offered SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmissions standard on most trims, along with a 3-speed manual option on base models. Powertrains ranged from V8s 302ci to 460ci with a focus on torque and a smooth ride. The 6th Generation Ford Country Sedan was produced until 1974.
