Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition (S302-PJ) (2007 to 2007)

The Parnelli Jones Edition was introduced in 2007 as a limited edition of the Ford Mustang Saleen S302 - S-197 I - 5th Gen. It was a tribute to the iconic racing driver Parnelli Jones and his legendary 1970 Mustang Boss 302. Based on the S197 Ford Mustang two door coupe body, it uses a front engine and rear-wheel drive configuration with a 5 speed manual transmission. Its engine is a 5.0L SOHC 3-valve V8, tuned by Saleen. It stands out for its Grabber Orange paint with black “302” hockey-stick stripes, pinstriped hood, 1970 replica wing rear spoiler, side window covers, serialized graphics, and 19" Minilite-style wheels with Pirelli tires. Inside, it features black and orange dual-tone sport seats, a specific instrument panel, a 200 mph speedometer, short-throw shifter, Shaker 500 audio system and air conditioning. One of its most notable aspects is its extremely limited and numbered edition, with a dash plaque signed by Steve Saleen and Parnelli Jones. Only 500 units were produced.
