The fifth generation of the Ford Ranger was introduced for the 2024 model year. This latest generation of Ford's compact pickup was available in rear or four wheel drive layouts, and was powered by a selection of EcoBoost inline four and V6 engines. In addition to the gasoline engines, a few diesel options are produced. Notably, the 5th Gen Ranger saw the introduction of the sporty off-road Raptor variant, which was previously only sold in foreign markets.
