Honda Cub F-Type (1952 to 1954)

The Cub F-Type was one of the most important vehicles in Honda Motorcycles early history and the first model to use the "Cub" designation. Introduced in 1952, the Cub F consisted of a small 49cc auxiliary engine designed to be mounted on conventional bicycles, offering an economical, lightweight and extremely affordable transportation solution for postwar Japan. Thanks to its mechanical simplicity, low fuel consumption and exceptional reliability, the Cub F became Honda's first major commercial success and helped solidify the company's industrial expansion and dealer network, laying the foundation for the development of some of the most successful motorcycles in history. The Honda Cub F-Type was produced until 1954.
