Honda FT (1982 to 1983)

The Honda FT series was a small family of motorcycles developed by Honda Motorcycles in the early 1980s, directly inspired by American flat track and dirt track bikes. The FT series was characterized by its high torque single cylinder engines, lightweight chassis, minimalist design and a simple, agile and very direct riding experience, both in the city and on the open road. These motorcycles sought to combine American racing aesthetics with the reliability and ease of use typical of Honda, becoming highly regarded models within the tracker and vintage custom culture. Among the most representative versions are the Honda FT500 and the Honda FT400, considered cult classics today among fans of Japanese sport single cylinder motorcycles.
