Honda Motorcycles (1949 to 2026)

From it's beginnings as a parts manufacturer, Honda has always had a long and illustrious history producing motorcycles. From 1946, Honda built motorcycles from an array of scavenged parts and third-party engines, but it wasn't until 1949 that the company produced their first model built entirely from Honda parts, the D-Type. From small and humble beginnings, Honda grew to become the largest motorcycle manufacturer in world by 1959. Over the course of their history, Honda has built motorcycles for a wide range of purposes, ranging from cruisers, to scooters, to off-roaders, to high performance super bikes. Regardless of the purpose of their motorcycles, Honda bikes are known for their quality and durability.
