Imperial - 2nd Gen (1957 to 1966)

The second generation of Imperial was introduced for the 1957 model year. The second generation Imperial saw the introduction of three trim levels: Custom (base), Crown (intermediate), and LeBaron (top). This updated generation of Imperial was offered as a sedan, convertible, and 'Southampton' two or four door hardtop. An Imperial Crown limousine was also available. The model saw regular updates to its styling, and was fitted with a 6.4L, 6.8L, or 7.2L V8 during production. The second generation of Imperial continued production until 1966, when the Third Generation Imperial was unveiled.
